SD-WAN – Software-Defined WAN
Is a cloud-ready next generation networking, Powerful, flexible, scalable enterprise-grade network service.
Sahara Net Successfully deployed multiple Connectivity projects utilizing SD WAN technology, allowing businesses to focus on their goals while we at Sahara Net control and monitor the connection. Our service is worry free, we provide SLA and free monitoring tools.
SD-WAN is the latest addition to our Solutions portfolio. It can turn your legacy infrastructure into a more secure and responsive platform, for better control and visibility of your network traffic.
SD-WAN is a networking technology that uses software to make wide area networks more intelligent and flexible whether by connecting sites directly to the internet over any available media or connecting sites over MPLS or any type of hybrid connectivity, SD WAN can utilize all. Configurations and access policies are centrally managed and easily applied across all sites, removing the need to manual administer each WAN device individually.
An intelligent SD-WAN platform can sometimes combine transport services into a single, logical high-bandwidth link, improving application performance and QOS. More advanced platforms continuously monitor the throughput, packet loss, latency, and jitter of all transport services. The SD-WAN then automatically routes traffic – and when necessary, reroutes traffic – to maintain compliance with Quality of Service and security policies.
SD-WAN is a specific application of software-defined networking (SDN) technology applied to WAN connections such as broadband internet, 4G, LTE, or MPLS. It connects enterprise networks — including branch, offices, and data centers over large geographic distances.
Enterprise customers are demanding more flexible, open, and cloud-based WAN technologies, rather than installing specialized WAN technology that is often expensive.
With SD-WAN, IT teams can deliver routing, threat protection, efficient offloading of expensive circuits to reduce WAN costs, and simplify WAN network management.
SD WAN Business benefits include:
Application experience
High availability, with predictable SLA, on all critical enterprise applications
Multiple hybrid active-active links for all network scenarios to keep your business up and running.
Dynamically route application traffic to drive efficient delivery.
Increase business productivity and user satisfaction.
Integrated security
Improve security and reduce threats.
Application-aware policies with real-time enforcement around network problems
Integrated threat protection
Secure traffic flow across broadband Internet via IPsec tunnels.
Operational simplification of management and security
Simplify branch WAN architecture using single, centralized management dashboard for configuration and management of WAN, cloud, and security or even a full managed service from Sahara Net.
Template-based, zero-touch provisioning for all locations.
Detailed applications and WAN performance reporting for business analytics.
Centralized Orchestration
By centralizing the configuration of an SD-WAN as well as application performance and security policies, enterprises can significantly reduce WAN operational expenses.
Zero-Touch Provisioning (ZTP)
With ZTP, configurations and policies are programmed once and pushed to all branch locations without having to manually program each device individually using a CLI. It eliminates the need to send specialized IT resources out to branch locations whenever a new application is added, or a policy is changed. ZTP also reduces human errors, resulting in more consistent policies across to enterprise.
